The largest D IF Radiant Cut lab diamond grown to date and a collector of special stones meet in today's Design Series.
This client discovered Ada Diamonds on the Wall Street Journal Lunch Break segment that featured our founders in November 2016.
As a collector of unique and spectacular stones, he was looking for a very special diamond. At the time, the largest D IF lab diamond that had been grown was a 4.37ct radiant cut. The Concierge showed the customer these two videos of this beautiful diamond.
The customer was delighted and expressed interest in having the stone set as a men’s ring. His Concierge proposed a bezel setting that would give the finished jewelry a stylish, contemporary feel. The Concierge sent these renderings to the client.
After reviewing the initial renderings, the client wanted a sharper look with a smaller bezel. To help him get the closest possible feel for the finished ring, the Ada Concierge had his design rendered on a model. At Ada, we consider each client special, and our Concierge team goes the extra mile to make sure our clients are comfortable in their jewelry designs and delighted with the results. When the Concierge sent this second set of renderings, the client approved immediately.
Once the final design was approved by the client, his finished piece was delivered within two weeks.
This client was so pleased he requested a similar ring utilizing a 2ct round brilliant, and has gone on to become a regular at Ada, creating some truly inspiring pieces with our design team. His design also inspired us to add it to our collections as the Men's Bezel Ring.
