Ada Diamonds, Inc. is a start up founded in 2015 with offices in Silicon Valley (Sunnyvale) and San Francisco (SOMA). We are always seeking driven, bright, and compelling individuals to contribute to our diverse and growing team. Ada Diamonds is a bespoke fine jeweler of exclusively laboratory grown diamonds. Our unique Concierge e-commerce platform specializes in bringing 21st Century transparency and flexibility to clients with the high-touch model of a private jeweler.
Although we are in the business of making and selling gorgeous jewelry to celebrate life's greatest moments, none of Ada's core founding team hail from the jewelry industry. Sales & Business Development Manager (Diamond Concierge)
Ada Diamonds is seeking driven, talented, and outgoing individuals to help expand our Sales team. While experience in direct sales is necessary, no diamond or jewelry experience is required. Ada Diamonds delivers beautiful, fine jewelry to happy clients all over the world, and you will be a key part of Ada's growth.
Ada Diamonds operates as an online-based, custom fine jeweler of laboratory grown diamonds. Our unique online Concierge model combines the ease, transparency, and flexibility of an online retailer with the high-touch, client-focused model of a private jeweler.

As a Diamond Concierge, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Becoming a subject matter expert on lab grown diamonds and the needs of our clients
Fielding client inquiries
Developing and building relationships with clients in person and over the phone, email, and video chat
Directly closing sales
Mentoring new members of the Diamond Concierge Team
Creating content for blog posts, marketing efforts, and Ada's web site
Building and maintaining relationships with third party suppliers
SF Bay Area resident
At least 5 years of direct sales, client relationship management, or business development (or equivalent)
Detail-oriented and able to manage dozens of open client engagements at once
Ability to quickly learn new tools and workflows
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be managed remotely and be part of an autonomous team
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Powerpoint, Word, and Excel
Experienced with Google Drive or equivalent file sharing program
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to them quickly
Proficient or experience with Salesforce, Squarespace, Photoshop, Asana, Slack, Instagram
Experience and familiarity with photography, DSLR cameras, and video/photo editing
Proficient or bi-lingual in Spanish, French, Mandarin, Arabic, Hebrew, or Russian

This full-time role will initially be split 50/50 between Ada's Sunnyvale location (1 mile from Sunnyvale Caltrain station) and its SF location (in SOMA). Dress code for the SF location is business casual. Dress code for SV is casual. Eventually this role is intended to remain full time in one of those two locations.
This is a client-facing, retail sales role. The ideal candidate can start within four weeks.
