Video Examples of Good vs Bad Lab Diamonds

Here at Ada Diamonds, quality is our love language. We will never, ever sell a lab diamond sight unseen. We do not rely on third-party supplier videos which are easy to manipulate or even fabricate. All of our lab diamonds are hand-selected, curated, and inspected.

Here are some side by side examples of Ada’s passes versus fails!

Left: Poorly Grown Treated CVD “F” Color; Right: Gorgeous Treated CVD “E” Color Lab Diamonds

Both of these diamonds are GIA-certified, HPHT-treated CVD. The diamond on the left is a fail: a brownish gray F color made with sped-up CVD growth. The diamond on the right is a pass: also CVD, but grown with care and hand-selected for brilliance.

Left: Poorly Grown Treated CVD “G” Color; Right: Natural-Looking Treated CVD “G” Color Lab Diamonds

Both of these lab grown ovals are GIA-certified G color, HPHT-treated CVD. The diamond on the left is a fail: sad, lifeless G color made with sped-up CVD growth. The diamond on the right a pass: also CVD and G color, but grown slowly.

Left: Grayish Blue D Color; Right: Bright White D Color Lab Grown Ovals

Both of these lab grown ovals are GIA-certified D color, HPHT grown. The diamond on the left is a fail: grayish blue tinge from cheap growth. The diamond on the right a pass: bright white with incredible material.

Left: Grayish Blue E Color Radiant; Right: True E Color Princess Cut Lab Diamonds

Both of these lab grown diamonds are GIA-certified E color, HPHT grown. The diamond on the left is a fail: grayish blue tinge from cheap growth. The diamond on the right a pass: a true E color with great sparkle.
