A half coverage band has diamonds set across the top half of the ring, with plain metal around the bottom. You get a full line of sparkle where it shows most, while the smooth metal underneath sits comfortably against the finger. ### What are the advantages of a half coverage band? A half coverage band can be resized, costs less than a full eternity band, and the plain metal underneath is comfortable and durable. You still get diamonds across the visible top of the ring, so it looks like a full diamond band from above. ### Can a half coverage band be resized? Yes. Because the bottom of the band is solid metal with no stones, a half coverage band can usually be resized, unlike a full eternity band.
