They can vary across the 4 C’s of cut, carat, color, and clarity. But there also exist quality characteristics beyond the 4 C’s that impact a lab diamond’s appearance. We review grading reports from GIA, IGI, and GCAL, along with 360° videos, to identify diamonds worth inspecting in person. We confirm the laser inscription on each diamond to ensure it matches its grading report and the inventory we ordered. Our Procurement Director conducts the first evaluation, followed by a second more detailed review by our Diamond QC Team. Stones with poor light performance, inaccurate grading, unnatural color tones, or weak crystal material are sent back to suppliers. Because the stones are physically in-house, we capture new photos and videos using consistent lighting and equipment.
